Questions
What operators ask us.
The things that come up on every first call, answered plainly. Yours isn't here? Ask it below.
What does tyll.ai actually do?
It takes the records your systems produce at the end of service – the till receipts, the card terminal settlement, the guest folios and the counted drawer – and checks every line of one against the others. What agrees is ticked off and never shown to you. What disagrees becomes a short list with the check, the amount and the reason.
How does it connect to my existing systems?
Through the exports they already produce. There is no switch to make and no new software at the point of sale. If one source is missing, tyll.ai checks against the rest and stays silent about the one it cannot see, rather than inventing a mismatch.
Can I export the finished close for my accountant?
Yes. The finished close builds an accounting entry – cash, card and revenue by category posted to their own accounts – and exports as CSV in the format your accountant already expects.
How does the trend view help?
A single flagged discount is noise. The same flag on the same terminal, four nights out of fourteen, is a pattern worth acting on. tyll.ai keeps the history so the repeat shows up on its own instead of being spotted by whoever happens to remember last Friday.
Does tyll.ai replace my accountant?
No, and it does not replace your till or your property system either. It replaces the hour somebody spends every night proving that three reports agree. Your accountant receives a close that already ties out – the morning after rather than at month end.
What data does tyll.ai access?
Sales data only: amounts, tender types, times, tables and room numbers. Processed in the EU. It does not read guest names, and it never handles full card numbers.
